Management control
We support the heads of public finance sector entities in building management control that works in practice — not one that merely exists on paper.
Legal basis. In public finance sector entities, management control comprises all the
measures taken to ensure that objectives and tasks are achieved in a lawful, effective,
economical and timely manner (Article 68 of the Polish Public Finance Act); the head of the
entity is responsible for ensuring it (Article 69).
Scope of support
- a review and assessment of the existing management control system (levels I and II),
- developing or updating documentation: procedures, internal regulations, rules for setting objectives and performance measures, risk management,
- risk analysis — identification, assessment and a risk treatment plan,
- preparing the management control self-assessment and support with the statement on the state of management control,
- training for management and staff on the principles of management control,
- an audit of compliance with the Minister of Finance's management control standards.
Why us
Implementations are led by Monika Kalinowska — a consultant on implementing management control in public finance sector entities, an internal auditor holding the CIA designation and the Polish Ministry of Finance state examination, with audit experience in public offices, institutes and healthcare providers.
