Business valuation

We value businesses and companies, their organised parts, shares, and individual assets — fixed assets or intangibles such as a trademark or a customer portfolio.

Purposes of a valuation

We tailor the scope of the valuation to the purpose for which it is prepared:

  • purchase/sale transactions — a change of ownership,
  • conversions and business reorganisations,
  • mergers and acquisitions,
  • commercial disputes,
  • accounting law requirements,
  • tax purposes.

Methods we use

  • income approach (DCF),
  • asset-based approach,
  • net asset value (NAV),
  • adjusted net asset value — also in cooperation with certified property valuers,
  • comparative approach — market multiples,
  • market approach.
The outcome: a report containing the valuation results together with a recommendation. To prepare the valuation, we need information about the company's plans over the next five years and data enabling a simulation of cash inflows and outflows.
